How to Cast Android to your Fire TV

Before we get started on how to cast your mobile screen to your Fire TV, remember that the term “Casting” varies in different Android devices. Samsung, for example, refers to casting as Smart View. However, the steps are pretty much the same.

Set up the wireless connection

The first and most significant step is ensuring that your Fire TV is connected to the same network as your mobile device. Mobile devices work better with 2.4 GHz and not a 5 GHz network, and your Fire TV is expected to be on the same band.

  • Go to the homepage of your Fire TV.

  1. Navigate to your start menu from the homepage.
  2. Select settings.

How to Cast iPhone/iPad to Fire TV

This step is perhaps the most complex because it involves a third-party app. But, don’t get bothered; we’ll break it down into simple, easy-to-follow steps.

Here’s what you have to do:

  • Select the search icon on your Fire TV on the left side of your menu.
  • Search for AirScreen and tap it from the results.
  • Download and install this app. AirScreen allows your iPhone to connect to your Fire TV.
  • Open AirScreen and start the app.

  • In the app menu, open Settings.
  • Return to the start menu.
  • Select Start by clicking on the start button.

How to Mirror Mac to an Amazon Fire TV

The Mac and the iPhone follow the same procedure except for slight differences in some names.

Here’s how to go around the process:

  • Enable the Google Play Store on Chromebook to mirror to Fire TV.
